I loved painting this cloud ‘triptych’ capturing the ever changing sky and colours. The only challenge was how to photograph them together, so excuse the ‘propped on a bed’ look! Also which order should they go in?
Oil on canvas 51 x 40.5cm
Available individually (£200) or all together (£550)
This painting sold a while ago, but I recently delivered it, which seems good timing as we come to the end of a stunning autumn. Oil on canvas board 61 x 46cm
I can't stop looking at the ever-changing sky, especially the clouds. These ones are from a sunset in Maldon.
Oil paint on canvas 51 x 40.5cm £250
I'm finally painting again after the long summer break - seeking something different in style and failing to find it! Some say this dissatisfaction is the precursor to change. Here’s hoping!
Anyhoo here's an oil on canvas board of kids playing in the sea (30 x 40cm) For sale £200
I forgot to post these landscape commissions delivered over the summer, which I seem to be doing more of these days. Or should that be waterscapes?

I did a smaller version of this recently, so in anticipation of Thursday’s storm, had a go at a larger one! I think it captures the expansive space more as the changing clouds race across.
This sold before I had to chance to upload it, but I'm on a stormy clouds roll so there'll be more seascapes coming.
Oil on canvas 77 x 51cm
Over the last year this has become my place of escape...swimming in beautiful Denham Lake whatever the weather. This was on a good day!
Oil on canvas 46 x 35cm
It seems crazy looking back, but I was so focussed on the sunlit boats, I didn't notice the approaching storm until I was in it.
Oil on canvas 59 x 41cm SOLD
I got caught in a storm on a walk in Maldon, Essex. I loved how the sky moved across from sunny to dark as though it were a moving picture. This was oil on canvas board, using 3 colours and a bit of white. For sale in my artwork section.
40 x 30cm
Happy May time everyone! Had fun with a 3 colour challenge (pink, yellow and blue plus a bit of white!) with this oil on canvas of Kenwood House, Hampstead Heath 40 x 30cm. For sale in the artwork section.
Here’s my latest cardboard commission, celebrating a family lie in! Still some spaces for commissions coming up - see Commission Tips for details. Oil pastel on corrugated cardboard 50 x 70cm
Here’s 2 portraits of 1 cheeky chappy done as commissions before Christmas. I really enjoyed this challenge - the same but not the same!
Returning to my old favourite, oil pastel on cardboard 30 x 30cm each.
I’m not going to to lie - these past months of homeschooling and barely picking up a paintbrush, along with a nice dose of Covid in half term for all the family, have been tough. But it’s made the last week with the kids back at school and myself happily planted in my studio all the more appreciated!
I’ve got behind with updates on portraits commissions for the end of 2020. - here’s one done for these 3 boys’ grandmother as a personal Christmas present. oil on canvas 50 x 40cm
Happy New Year and good riddance to the last one! May 2021 be full of the hopes and positives that are keeping us all going at the moment. Stay safe and well all.
Some of my better moments in lockdown were spent painting these…
There’s still a fantastic range of artworks in my Christmas sale including Pool Chat and Apple Blossom 1 and 2. All 25% off until 18th December.
Treat a loved one and tick them off on the present list!
I’m currently working on a series of pictures exploring my experience of motherhood and the role of mother and family during these crazy times. This has largely been created during lockdown and so taken a step away from the everyday towards something more surreal…as I think many of us may have experienced during lockdown!
Here’s a sneak peek at one of them - ‘Future Uncertain’ is a mixture of oil and acrylic on corrugated cardboard and is 151cm x 151cm.
I spent a lot of time in my friend Sandra’s garden in the summer. I was struck by the difference between her younger sleeping daughter and our older kids clutching water pistols in the background, marching forwards with intent.
Just packing up this little beauty to send to its new owner bought in my Christmas sale. ‘Left Right Left’ won Life Drawing Prize at Hampstead School of Art last summer and was one of my first left hand drawings. More life drawings and paintings are available going for a steal at £45.
